Noveske CHF Chrome Lined Lo-Pro Barrel
This barrel is way overpriced and the gas port is huge compared to other 13.7 barrels. Way over gassed and needs a heavy buffer to function properly. Only positive for me was the barrel was very accurate. I really wish Noveske would have used a smaller gas port size and this barrel would be perfect. I removed the Noveske barrel and reinstalled my 13.7 FN barrel which has a much smaller gas port size and functions flawlessly. I really wish I could return this barrel to Optics Planet. Don’t waste your money!
Vortex Strike Eagle FFP

I bought this scope to replace my SFP Strike Eagle. I had high hopes for this scope but it fell short. This scope has the tightest eye box of any scope I have ever used, especially on eight power. I thought the glass would be clearer, definitely not what I expected. Side to side I think my SFP has clearer glass. Definitely not worth the money Vortex is charging. Vortex needs to go back to the drawing board with the FFP Strike Eagle.

To start the nitride coating on this bolt carrier group is terrible. Coating is poorly nitrided and mine came blemished with scratches on it. I would return it to OpticsPlanet but their customer service is terrible. I ended up ordering a bolt carrier group from Maxim Defense, it wasn’t much more expensive and is much better quality when it comes to fit and finish. Save your money and buy else where.
