Review for
Troy HK Top Mounted Fixed Iron Sight
Troy iron sights are my go to sights for my AR rifkes and pistols. I have several that I don't fold down and these are a less expensive alternative to the folding ones.

Review for
JP Enterprises Tactical Trigger Spring Kit
I'm used to milspec triggers and don't generally upgrade a trigger unless it is a precision rifle. Having said that, I do put these on most of my ARs. Its an inexpensive upgrade that really improves the trigger without spending hundreds of dollars. It smooths out the pull and brings the pull weight down to something workable but not dangerously light. Worth the time and money.

Review for
Aimpoint Duty RDS MR 1x Reflex Red Dot Sight
I recently bought an Aimpoint Duty RDS and loved it. On Labor Day weekend, I saw Optics Planet advertising an insane deal on the Duty RDS MR. After some quick research, I bought one. After a little more, I bought a second one. I love both Aimpoint and Eotech and this seemed the best of both worlds. Once they came in, I played with them a little then mounted one on my Aero M5 .308 pistol. I only have about 150 rounds down range with it but I am very impressed so far. It has 8 daylight and 4 night vision settings. You can also toggle between the 65 moa circle, a 2 moa dot and a combination of both. You can use the 65 moa circle for range estimation just like the Eotech so I just leave it on both. It also goes to sleep after two hours of inactivity and has the shake awake feature. Unfortunately, it turns off after 24 hours of inactivity. I wish they had left that feature out. They include a tool to adjust for zero and to mount the optic, a T10 torx tool. I have heard complaints about that but I always carry a small set of tools in my kit. I obviously haven't owned it long enough to comment on battery life. I will say that i am impressed and like the improvements they have made over the Duty RDS.

Good To Go
Written on Sep 16, 2025
I have tried a number of different ambi charging handles, including some if the higher end ones, and I keep coming back to this one. I don't run supressors so I can't comment on how it works busting gas. But, I will say that under stress or while wearing gloves, I love the oversized charging handles. I am slowly transitioning all of my charging handles to the .308 and 5.56 versions of these.

Good Safety
Written on Jan 21, 2025
I do a good amount of ambi shooting so i installed this on my Areo Precision M5. It was an easy install and the short lever on the right side stays out of the way but is long enough to easily manipulate. I an in the process of putting these on all of my rifles.

Great Product

I have been using one of these for over a year on my Areo Precision M5 and it works great. I do a lot of ambi shooting so it has seen some use. It is an easy installation and I haven't had any issues.
