I put this on a Sig P365X Macro. I researched this optic carefully before I bought it and I am very pleased. This is my EDC weapon and my vision is getting bad in my old age, so I had some specific requirements. I have used many types of optics in the military and LE, so I knew the good and bad. On my G43X that was my previous EDC, I had a Swampfox Sentinel, which I liked a lot, but it had some shortcomings; needed to have suppressor height iron sights to be seen through the optic, only one “dot” option (really not a shortcoming , but I wanted more options) and has to be removed to replace the battery (I’d been running the same battery for well over a year and a half without replacing it, but I didn’t want to have to remove it at some point). It was a great optic and it’s a good choice, I just wanted other options.

Mounting and fit: It fits into the optic cut out on the slide without needing an adapter plate. It secured easily with one of the two sets of screws provided. It sits inside the cut and doesn’t protrude over the edges of the slide.

Controls: Reticle selection and brightness adjustment was easy to do. The buttons for adjustments are recessed so as not to be accidentally bumped but are easy to feel and to manipulate, even with large fingers. Windage/Elevation knobs are easy to access and you can feel the “click” as you turn it. The battery compartment is easy to open and close as well.

Mounted to a G43X MOS. Installation was easy and quick. I have the always on/auto brightness model. It includes all the tools you need to install it. I did use my own torque driver to secure the bolts. The auto brightness adjustment is very nice. The dot is clear and crisp. I added co-witness height sights. There is no cut out to allow you to see your stock iron sights, if the optic fails. Zeroing was quick and easy. Mine required no windage adjustments, just some elevation. I’ve put approximately 600 rounds through it, with no change in the zero.

Target acquisition is fast, like most dot optics. Since it’s low profile it takes a little more practice getting your eyes lined up through the window onto the dot, but like any sighting system it takes a little practice.

In all, I’ve been very pleased. This is on a EDC weapon and it added very little bulk and it’s super light, so you don’t notice any change at all in overall weight. Durability seems good. I’ve had no issues with damage or the zero being affected by general banging around associated with EDC. I’ve even dropped it onto the ground from about waist height, with no issues. This was accidental when it fell out if a range bag.

My only issues are:
1. The optic must be removed to change the battery. Due to its compact size and low profile, it’s probably difficult to build it with a battery compartment on the side, etc. Ive had mine set up since July of 2021 and the power is going strong on the original battery, so it’
