This compass is great! Durable, accurate, and waterproof. I use a compass regularly for hiking, Orienteering, to working and plotting on our land for hunting purposes. As well as teaching our Grandchildren how to use it properly. I rate the SILVA Ranger E for everyone.

After years of avid hunting, scouting, and hiking with binoculars hanging about the neck swinging around snagging on everything only to have neck pain for days after the excursion. I finally decided to purchase a Bino harness and chose the BOG Binocular Bivy Bag. Love the comfort of the padded H harness with easy on easy off release clips. The bino pouch holds my Bushnell Legend waterproof 8x42 binoculars as well as my Muddy LR 650 Range Finder in the smaller pouch in the front. There are two small pouchs on both sides of the Bino Bag I keep aset of Ranger beads in one and an MC reader in the other. And best of all because the weight is distributed throughout the shoulders, chest and upper back neck pain has gone away even with after a 10hr hunt. Watch face is much to small for quick clance reading. And the date is a struggle to see once beyond single digits. My watch has only been worn for about 4 months and battery is already dead. I would not recommend.

Dryshod Arctic Storm HI Winter Boots

I purchased these boots because of the quality and performance of another style that I was very happy with from Dryshod. Those pair of boots were a lighter insulated boot and work well for warmer day hunts. These Arctic Storm boots are just as good only with a little more insulation in them. I wore these all through hunting season 2024. From late Firearms into late Archery I spent one of those days in cloudy, windy, and damp 17°F weather for 10hrs feet stayed warm and toasty. Now with that said I always wear a good quality pair of wool socks with hunting boots which I highly recommend. These boots tend to run true to size so order accordingly. I wear a size 13 and with the wool socks they are a great fit not to loose for a sloppy unsafe walk nor to tight to where the feet get cold from strangling blood circulation. I find them easy to get on and off extremely lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof. And yes I recommend this product to others. Keep your feet safe from rain snow or cold with Dryshod Boots.

Shooting Rest

The Caldwell Matrix Shooting Rest is for the money a good piece of gear to have for the range. Especially if you typically shoot at your own range or in a location where commercial ranges are not accessible.
First it is lightweight and fairly easy to use. And I do mean lightweight..I actually use clamps to hold this rest onto my shooting table. However I also use extremely heavy loads for all sorts of ammo.
The shooting rest is easy to use from adjusting the height to the length adjustment at the back of the unit.
Shooting rest appears to be constructed fairly well with an impact resistant plastic. I would say the weakest link on this product would be the thin metal clip that is located behind the height adjustment nob. For now it has preformed well for me.
I would recommend this product to others.

1st this product is just about as simple of a watch as they come now days, it would only be simpler if it were the old whined up type. However this one runs on a lithium battery. It has a 3 position post (A,B,C) for basic settings with only a window for the date. This suits me just fine less bells and whistles.
2nd the overall quality seems good this watch is made in Japan (not China). It has been keeping time without the ever annoying loss there of that many watches seem to be plagued with. The watch is is made of titanium with with a crystal lens (do not forget to remove thin plastic protective covering). The minute, second, and hour hand all glow green as well as the numbers.
3rd the watch seems to be of a good weight. The watchband is very comfortable does not pinch or cut into the arm. And the watch Overall the Smith & Wesson Amphibian Commando Watch appears to be a good buy for the price.

Comfort level 5. Quality level 5. Stay up during a trek and outdoor heavy work like logging level 4. Breathability level 5. Cost for product level 5.

The Voodoo Tactical Shooting mat is excellent. I purchased this item to hunt from steep valley walls for deer. It is tough, thick, and able to be attached to the bottom of your pack. It also may double as a bed roll. I definitely would recommend this product to others.

I would give this product a 5 however it arrived bent out of shape considerably. Being aluminum all is well it was easy to confirm to the Canteen I have. Surprisingly it handled it's 1st round of heating coffee in the field great. Being made of Aluminum it cools rather quickly once removed from heat source so packing it away and getting back on the trail is easy.
