Did not like my carbine AT ALL
Written on Oct 04, 2025
Update from first review.
Bought a new Citadel lever gun, which only had open sights, no rail. Shot it with my go-to Hornady 300gr at a paint can at 25 yards without issue. Expensive ammo, so I waited for further modifications. Installed a Skinner pic rail, a red dot and bought this ammo. Could not hit the broad side of a barn at 50 yards. Set up paper at 25 yards and I had flyers all over the place, shooting while sitting, resting on a bag. Thought it was my 70 year old eyes, or faulty mounting on my part. Installed a scout scope. Same results. Went back to Hornady and got consistent groups. This ammo did shoot better from my 7.5" Redhawk, but still got a 4" flyer. Not compatible with either the twist rate or increased velocity from my carbine. Definitely would use for hunting, but will reload.

Good practice ammo. Bought for use in new carbine. Appeared to have flyers all over the place. Figured it just did not like the longer barrel. But, as I tell myself again and again, one change at a time. I went from open sights to mounting a pic rail and open rds along with addition of this ammo at the same time. Ends up the rds and my eyesight just don't parallax well at 50 yds. Haven't re-checked in my revolver yet but appears to function properly. I may be asking too much for flat nosed ammo.

Handy Tool

Handy tool. This is an easy to use tool for replacing drop-in fore-grip on an AR. Levers off magazine well. Grips are rubber coated and do not mar Delta ring or other gun parts. It does the job. Nothing else to say.

Review for
Magpul AFG2 Angled Foregrip
Not much to say, but website won't let me use less than 200 characters. It works well on AIM Sports drop-in quad-rail I purchased at the same time. Easy install. Stays in place. Still not enough to satisfy. OK, guess I wrote enough.
