The first kit that I bought for $142 arrived and the 3RS scope was defective. Only
the left side cross hair lit up. I called Cust Svc and the fellow told me to send it back for a replacement (you have to return all three items even if some work) The next one came and had the same problem. Since this box was opened already and the battery was already installed the scope, it appears that Optics just sent me one that someone else had returned. Also, unless you use the wire, the laser alone does not have an on/off switch. You have to loosen and tighten the battery cap. Again I
called Cust Svc this time for a refund, for which I am still waiting. I agree with a previous review that the power adjustment ring was very stiff. The price on the three
kit system has dropped. Draw your own conclusions, but don't expect too much.

Good idea, but poor materials. The front of the
Garand barrel heats up and the red element melted.
This apparently happened to another customer on
his review, and I should have listened to him.
Manufacturer needs to do better testing or put
a warning in the item.
