I purchased the Faxon Firearms Magazine Marker Bands to quickly identify with magazines belong to which rifle. Not that I have a ton of rifles, but with you use the magazines for most rifles, they begin to look alike. The last thing you want to do is grab the wrong magazine for the wrong rifle. These bands are a quick and simple way to identify your magazines when you need them. Simple, easy to use, and effective, what more could you want.

I used the SB Tactical SBPDW Pistol Stabilizing Brace for my Mil-Spec AR-9. Since the upper receiver and barrel on the AR9 makes the pistol top heavy, this brace creates a perfect balance with it's weight, rigidity, and function. The extension bars work flawlessly and lock solidly into their locking positions. This brace, along with a heavy buffer were all I needed to make my AR9 run smoothly.

This is my second AR9 buffer and this one is not operates flawlessly, but is three times cheaper than the previous one I purchased from another vendor. The Guntec buffer slowed the cyclic rate down perfectly and made follow on shots smooth and easy. This brand will be my go-to from now on. With regard to the overall purchase - lesson learned, shop at Optics Planet first.

I ordered this red dot sight to use on a lightweight AR build. This was my first Sig Sauer sight, so I was uncertain of the performance and quality; however I do remember reading good reviews about their products. I was not disappointed at all, this sight is everything that I hoped it would be. The clarity of the optics are great; it picks up a lot of light and gives a sharp, clear picture. The dot is sharp and crisp even at the lowest settings, and the overall quality is solid and mounts easily with the supplied allen key. I own several red dot sights (this is my eighth different brand), and this is easily going to be one of my favorites. My only grip is the brightness/power buttons take a while to get used to. You have to hold it in to power on, and occasionally it takes longer than the 5 seconds described to power on or off. Something I will get used too with more use I hope.
