Romeo5 - awesome red dot - SIG SAUER OPMOD Romeo5X 1x20mm 2 MOA Dot Compact Reflex Red Dot Sight

I ordered this red dot sight to use on a lightweight AR build. This was my first Sig Sauer sight, so I was uncertain of the performance and quality; however I do remember reading good reviews about their products. I was not disappointed at all, this sight is everything that I hoped it would be. The clarity of the optics are great; it picks up a lot of light and gives a sharp, clear picture. The dot is sharp and crisp even at the lowest settings, and the overall quality is solid and mounts easily with the supplied allen key. I own several red dot sights (this is my eighth different brand), and this is easily going to be one of my favorites. My only grip is the brightness/power buttons take a while to get used to. You have to hold it in to power on, and occasionally it takes longer than the 5 seconds described to power on or off. Something I will get used too with more use I hope.
