Price point left me skeptical, but this sight is a solid piece of gear. Fast BZO with 1500 drill rounds and BZO held.

Not only does the Sig OPMOD FDE Romeo5 XDR red dot a great match for my FDE Aero Precious FDE rifle build, the red dot performance is a great optic for size and weight. The reticle is crystal clear and with the option of a 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle is great for putting on any target.

This is my 3rd Sig Sauer Romeo 5 (mounted on 2 AR 15 style carbines,& Ruger mini 14). The oldest purchased 3 years ago, with about 1200 rounds with it. I have yet to have a problem with any of them.

I wanted something ready to go when I pick up the rifle. As usual the fit and finish of Sig products is great. Packaging is Sig flawless. Scope caps fit perfectly. Shake awake is awesome. So much better than just turning the dot on. Triple A battery is easier to find in a pinch. Battery life is out of this world although I haven't killed one battery yet. I found the reticle to be very clear and sharp. This model has the upgraded emitter that is different from the Romeo 5. Turrets were crisp and the adjustments were fine. Call me a snob for wanting 1/4 adjustments in everything but this worked great. The selectable reticle is nice and the "Eotech" reticle fits perfectly to co witness with my Midwest industries rear and Magpul pro front sight with stock riser that was attached although it comes with another riser. It was almost perfectly zeroed at 50 yards out of the box which was nice. Lockup was tight and it has held zero on both the 5.56 and 7.62x39 uppers. I will again trust the durability videos on the internet as I don't drive over my scopes with my truck. This is a durable piece it seems. Feels like quality.

I would say for a red dot at this price it blows most everything else away. It's giving you everything you need except that really big objective but that's the only thing it misses. If you are worried about seeing the front emitter I can tell you it can be visible at close range but unless you go another more expensive route that is the case with all red dots. And i...

Extremely clear glass for the price point. It has a great reticle and has the single dot option too. It also looks excellent under magnification. The only downside is that it has limited mounting options. However, if you like Full Co-Witness dots and the donut of death, this is a great entry level option. And it comes in FDE! Nice product.

You get what you pay for. Its cheap for a reason. Ive had nothing but issues from the time I opened the box. Intermittent power. And finally a year later it no longer works at all. Assuming theres no warranty so just wasted money. If youre looking, spend your money on something better.

I got this optic at a great price and with free shipping! It is very well made, looks sharp and has an excellent reticle with clear glass. I like how the battery can be installed with out removing the optic! The buttons are easy to use and conveniently located on top of the optic. I could not be happier! Great value!
