Just received the scope. First problem I noticed was the throw lever for the zoom will go past 1 to make it look as if you were further away and in a tunnel. Probably should be a hard stop to prevent that. Second, I thought the scope was upside down. No, scopes was correct. The reticle was installed upside-down. Obviously, I wasn't the first person this has happened to after looking at other reviews.
Optics Planet gets 5 stars for the easy return.
Just had a chance to shoot this ammo at the range. Out of 100 rounds I had 5 light primer strikes. Examining the cartridges the cases are flawed. The rim of the casing appears to be thinner. Tried these 5 rounds multiple times and they would not fire. 5% failure rate not acceptable.
I ordered this Ammo over 2 years ago, September 2020. This week, I get a shipping notice. Optics Planet honored the price from 2 years ago. Wow, talk about customer service. Optics Planet is and will be my go to place for everything firearms related.
Thanks to your wonderful staff.
Got the trigger and held it for a few weeks before installing. When I took it out of the packaging the rivets were partially out. I tapped the back and everything seemed fine. Installed in the lower and trigger pull is light and crisp. Would be a great trigger but trigger pull is light and crisp even while on safe. Yes the hammer goes home even whrn the weapon is on safe. Maybe this one was defective.
I bought this because it didn't look like every other AR15 build. I was quite pleased with the way the bulid turned out. It comes with plastic barrel wrench that is useless. I used strap wrench instead with excellent results. Outer hand guard is a rubber material. For the price very nice build.
I bought this as a nostalgia piece. Well made and fit nicely with my lower. Iron sights are the gear shift off the gun world but I still like hitting a target at 500 yards without a scope. Rear elevation knob is a little stiff but should improve with use.
If I had a dollar for everytime I shot one if these across the room during assembly or disassembly... but I don't because I couldn't find them and had to buy more. All kidding aside a valuable asset in your spare parts kit.
Light weight and serves its purpose. Installed on an AR9 w/ 16inch barrel. Had to weld a socket to an adjustable wrench to use for tourque. After I installed it I realized the flash suppressor flats were under the gaurd so I had to remove it again to clock it. Over all very satisfied with the results.
This barrel fit but was so tight I had use a rubber mallet to tap it in to the upper receiver. I don't think it is ever coming out again. Tried other barrels in the same receiver and they fit fine. Needs about 0.001more clearance.
