The older braces are too big and get in the way, but the SBA3 is the BEST: small, short, and ADJUSTABLE!
The SIG 556 pistol requires only the SBA3 brace, with the supplied tube, and a castle nut.
The SIG 522 pistol requires you to first drill & tap to install a Doublestar A510 "pignose" stock adapter without the "boss" on the buttplate. No castle nut is required since this adapter has a set screw.

I buy my 5.11 TDU twill pants one size too large to get the extra room in the legs, and so the tunnel elastic waistband is not too tight, but then for my size the pants are a bit loose in the waist. These pants only come in small, medium, large, XL, etc., so you get as close as you can. Then you buy the Elite Survival Systems Shooters Belt, also from Optics Planet. You can load up the belt and cargo pockets in your pants with all your stuff, even a Sig 226 in the front pocket, and this belt will keep your pants right where they belong.
It is really quick to take your pants on and off since you just squeeze to release the belt buckle, then unsnap the pants. The buckle goes back together again with just a click. The only time you have to release the Velcro on the belt, and slip it out of the buckle, is to completely remove the belt from your pants. I would never purchase a "tactical" belt that required this extra step just to throw on your pants and go at a moment's notice. The converse is also true when taking your pants off.
I wore these pants with other belts, without the level of success that this combination of pants and belt provides. I highly recommend both.
For me, I wear a pair of these pants, and the shooters belt, from the woods to work to church.

I loved it so much, I purchased two more.
