I buy my 5.11 TDU twill pants one size too large to get the extra room in the legs, and so the tunnel elastic waistband is not too tight, but then the pants are actually too loose in the waist. These pants only come in small, medium, large, XL, etc., but I really like the pants. So, this belt came to the rescue! You can load up the belt and cargo pockets with all your stuff, even a Sig 226, and this belt will keep your pants where they belong.

It is really quick to take your pants on and off since you just squeeze to release the buckle, and push to click the buckle back together again. The only time you have to release the Velcro and slip it out of the buckle is to completely remove the belt from your pants. I would never purchase a "tactical" belt that required this extra step just to throw on your pants and go at a moment's notice. The converse is also true when taking your pants off.
