Weaver Classic 4x28 Scout Scope
The scope is small, light weight but seems to be made very well. It mounts perfectly forward of the receiver just like it is supposed to be. Use low mounts and it will fit perfect and clear the front sight. Glass is clear and sharp and the reticle is perfect. I can snap the rifle to my shoulder with both eyes open and acquire a correct sight picture without any conscious effort. This is the perfect setup for a hunting river bottoms. Time well tell if this thing holds up but from the other reviews I believe this will work perfect on a scout rifle chambered in 6.5. Optics Planet delivered quickly with product packed well. No issues as always!

Checked these scopes out while in a big box store and was impressed with the construction and clarity. The price was okay but of course OpticsPlanet had it for much less. I was skeptical at first but after reading Sig's warranty I was sold. Scope arrived in 2 days. I compared it to my Leupold vx3 and the Sig seemed clearer than the Leupold! I have yet to mount it on my rifle but it is going on a Heym SR20. I would recommend a medium height set of rings as the eye piece is larger and might interfere with the bolt. Sig will also give you a custom turret for your specific load at no extra cost to you. If you are on a budget and want a quality scope that the manufacturer will stand behind I would recommend checking them out. Time will tell how it actually performs on my rifle. But so far so good.
