Weaver scout on ruger scout rifle - Weaver Classic 4x28 Scout Scope

The scope is small, light weight but seems to be made very well. It mounts perfectly forward of the receiver just like it is supposed to be. Use low mounts and it will fit perfect and clear the front sight. Glass is clear and sharp and the reticle is perfect. I can snap the rifle to my shoulder with both eyes open and acquire a correct sight picture without any conscious effort. This is the perfect setup for a hunting river bottoms. Time well tell if this thing holds up but from the other reviews I believe this will work perfect on a scout rifle chambered in 6.5. Optics Planet delivered quickly with product packed well.
