Its so good...and provocative
Written on Jan 24, 2025
Drop in trigger so install is a breeze, easier going in than the old coming out. The pull on it is soooooo buttery and the reset...OMG #worth it. This honestly doesnt need a huge review. Its exactly what it says it is. Then there is the design...ITS A FREAKING LEG!!!! Cmon we all love our ladies might as well church her up and be a little extra, at least thats my approach. Grab it on sale and its 100% a win.

Great cheap stock

Review for
UTG Pro AR15 Ops Ready S1 Mil-spec Stock
Its a basic thicc boi adjustable stock that slightly clones a B5, I like em they do their job but there are some annoyances about them. The QD mount point is either or, not both. In order to put the QD on the opposite side youll need to swap the bolt over which is easy enough but just kind of annoying to do. Another is the storage compartment isnt exactly easy to get open but whatever its cheap, functional, good looking and sturdy so who cares that much. If you want more performance and operation ease then dont look at $30 stocks. Oh! Another kind of pain point, kinda, is that small extra section of plastic at the opening of the stock. What I mean by that is the adjustments are a wee bit wonky because of it. I run a weave of paracord on my buffers and it puts the adjustment that I store my ARs at in about the 2nd or 3rd position, well with this stock I put them in that position and find that I have to kind of jam it forward to get it to lock in where I want it where as with a normal flat front stock it just sits flush against my cord. Thats a me thing not necessarily a you thing at all and im not docking a star because of it, Im just advising you that it can be a little wonky as far as spacing.

Love these things
Written on Jan 24, 2025
So I am relatively new to the AR crowd and when I picked up my first rifle it had the god awful A2 grip on it and well that needed to GTFO ASAP. I picked up the purple one with matching buttstock and fell in love with them the minute I installed it. Since then I have added the same grip in different colors to an M&P-22, PSA PA-15, M&P-15 LE and Anderson pistol. They are SOOOO comfy. Obviously if you hate the grooves theyre not for you. BUT! If youre a groovy kind of shooter (HA! See what I did there...) Then these things are awesome. They install the exact same as any other grip. The rubber feels quality and offers a nice non slip grip. Now that all being said...longevity...I have no idea at this point. I only have about 1000 rounds in each rifle over about 4 months and thus far they hold up but only years and use will prove if theyre really durable and I cant answer that at this time. Ill probably still replace with the same thing though when that time comes just out of the comfort. OOO if you like a 1911 grip angle, these aint for you.

Buttery Smooth
Written on Jan 24, 2025
So I picked this up around xmas 2024. I put it in my M&P AR-15 which had the original terrible handle in it and twas a gassy girl to say the least and well, she still is but this little fella did seem to help a bit with it. The OG was clunky and rough no matter how juicy I got it, it just was awful to draw back on. I am SO happy to say that this thing is just buttery smooth since the second I installed it. I was concerned based on the reviews saying that it had tolerance issues and it didnt fit. I can comfortably say that it fits perfectly now after they made changes to their tooling. It looks great. The FDE matches the rest of my furniture well enough. When I bought it, it was on sale for around $27 and for that price it was absolutely a 5 star charger. If it was the same price as like a raptor then nah, no way but if you can catch this thing on sale then it is worth every nickel for it and youll be so happy you'll wish you bought more at that price (I know im kicking myself for not grabbing several). If youre running stock and want a nice handle, go for it. You wont be mad.

Comfy, nice fit.
Written on Oct 18, 2024
Approx 10 seconds after tightening down the bolt for the grip when I first got to hold it I was hooked on the rubberized grip. The comfort factor of the rilfe shot through the roof. The color is awesome, The stock fits tight and doesnt chunk around. The 3 QD points are nice for versatility and covering the bases on personal preferences. I love this combo and looking to add it to the next rifle as a result. Good price, good fit and its comfy, nuff said.
