Most Helpful Positive Review Works well
I shoot at an outdoor range that is under cover. I can clearly hear the other guns going off (its loud but similar to ear muff) but what is interesting is that while I am having a conversation, I can't hear the other person talk during a gun shot. They are muted which means the E-MAX are cutting out...

Most Helpful Negative Review Stopped working at 7 months
The product worked great as described for 7 months then totally died, the charger does not charge and Optics Planet only has a 30 day return policy. The wind does amplify which can be annoying but the shooting noise is reduced significantly.

Works Ok - Not for me

by JohnK, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on August 18, 2024
The electronics, sound, features are great. They do not fit for me. Can’t get a good seal and they eventually fall out. If you buy these make sure there is a reasonable return policy and try a few times. If they work for you, you will love them. If they don’t, money wasted.

Become useless after 6 months!

by Crimsus, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on January 24, 2024
When I first bought them they worked ok. It did reduce shot noise but wind was amplified. The problem is at the 6 month mark, the right ear bud (that controls on/off) would always lose charge. The problem is the ear buds have to sit just right in the case in order to stay charged. If you bump the case, there's a good chance the right ear bud loses contact with the charging contacts in the case. Since the right ear bud has gone dead so many times it won't keep a charge longer than 5 minutes now.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Faulty charge design.
