Most Helpful Positive Review great middle ground bipod
This bipod is best used by range enthusiasts and most hunters. No, it’s not the best bipod on the market, but it is far from the worst. I’ve had one of these for quite a while and had it mounted on a .308, 6.5 creedmoor, and an AR-15 and it has performed great with each style of rifle, traditional b...

Broke Immediately

by Sloppy, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 23, 2022
Came tightened down all the way. When i loosened it by hand the weld holding the tension knob broke. This was fixed by JB weld. Leg extensions are a little cumbersome in comparrison to others. Not easily done with one hand.
Pros:
  • Cheap
  • EASY INSTALL
Cons:
  • Tilt is loose to the point of rifle falling over on AR platform
Best Used for:
  • Long rifles that need a quick bipod attachment.

Quite acceptable for usage

by Hogbreath, from IN, United States Written on September 10, 2017
Purchased this item for a plinking 22lr. Easy to mount, sturdy and construction is more than adequate. Are there better bipods out there? -yes, but for an everyday general purpose economically priced bipod this is perfect. Would I take this bipod to combat? no... but for use on my HK 22, it works just fine. Am purchasing a taller unit to try on my ar15. Will let you know how that works out.
Pros:
  • Ease of use
  • Ease of installation and Price
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • General plinking and varmint shooting h

Love how it fits and articulates

by Justin, from NM, United States Written on March 27, 2017
Great bipod espically for the price I put it on my Aeroprecision M5E1, I wouldn't trust something that wasn't quality put on that gun. If I had to do it again I would have ordered more at the same time to save me in shipping because I am going to put them on my other rifles in the near future

Poor design

by Ryan, from AR, United States Written on October 26, 2015
Legs are stiff and hard to deploy especially if already from a prone position. Legs will also drop out if not tightened back down making them as easy to lose... as I discovered with it the first day in the field. I do like the look and would have been much more pleased if it weren't for the legs falling out.

Caldwell Bipod

by Bub, from AL, United States Written on March 11, 2015
Very please with the product for the price. I wouldn't take it to battle but for just having fun on the range works great! Hinges well. Pivots well. Legs little cumbersome to let in and out. I would recommend it for the price.

Caldwell AR shooting bipod-prone position

by Bulldoc, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on March 3, 2015
Well buil and sturdy. Legs function as advertised, adjust easily on uneven ground. It attaches easily to the picatinny rail and makes adjustment for cant. It's half the price of a Harris but is more than half the value.

Bipod Prone

by deadeyegv, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on September 30, 2014
I bought this to complete a tactical rifle build. It functions exactly as advertized. It is light weight and though the Desert Tan isn't quite that, I am satisfied with the value (features and function for the price). The rotate and pivot function within the ranges I expected.
