William Simmons's Review of Caldwell Matrix Shooting Rest 101600
Overall this is a great rest. Very well thought out and adjustable. My trouble started when I let a new shooter use it to shoot my Ak. I have an VG-6 Epsilon on it and the concussion was enough to fracture the plastic rest on one side. I glued it back together and it broke with normal use again and again. Now I’m buying a bag.
Pros:

- stable
- Well engineered
- Fully adjustable
Cons:
- made of plastic
- Will fracture with some muzzles if too close
Best Used for:
- sighting in
