Only down side is it won't make you coffee. It's heavy and well built. Should last for years and years. Using 6.5 creedmoor with it. If wanting features and stability of +$400 bipod, but half the price; this is it. OpticsPlanet.com was amazing to work with. I am so glad I chose to buy through them over anyone else. Item arrived fast and brand new in box just like it would from the store only 1/2 price. Thank you OpticsPlanet.com!!
Pros:
- well built
- Very Accurate, and great expansion
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting
- Bench and competition shooting

Adjustments are easy to make and precise. My groups have tightened up when switching from a bipod on the front to this rest. Couple small things to know: It does not come with rubber feet, only spiked feet option out of the box. You can buy the rubber feet separately if you have a concrete bench. Second, it comes with two different bag options for the top, which is nice, but the bag adjustable wings does not come filled.

This is a well built bench rest that provides 90% of the functionality of top rests at a fraction of the cost. I use it for sighting in, load development and shooting up to medium range (600 yards).
Pros:
- price for value
- solid well built all around quality
Cons:
- Foreend stop twist when lock Knob loosens
Best Used for:
- Bench rest sighting-in, target shooting

Excellent item, fast shipping. Came 95% assembled. Little bag should come filled because it is a pain to fill.
Thank you.

The name BR Competition implies the rest is suitable for benchrest competition. While it's slightly better than $30 unit's, it definitely isn't suitable for any type of competition, especially benchrest. Everything wobbles because of horrible Chinese manufacturing tolerances. The main shaft wobbles, the secondary shaft wobbles, the top wobbles and even the foot screws wobble. Tearing down and resembling made the rest slightly better but it quickly goes back to it's original condition. Showed it to the plants lead mechanical engineer who wants to repair everything instead of replace. He said to get rid of it and replace with something better. (Then he proceeded to explain everything required to correct the poor tolerances which would be more expensive than buying a premium component.) I have a Ransom International front rest being delivered next week made from a small family owned business in Arizona from 100% American made components.
Note because of greatly varying quality in Chinese made products, mine could be the worst ever made and yours better. Granted my expectations in accuracy are very high (I expect to shoot less than 1/2 moa with my CZ 457 Varmint 22lr) and this unit is the leading cause of inaccuracy.
Pros:
- Better than a cheapo unit
Cons:
- everything wobbles because of poor tolerances
Best Used for:
- caual shooting from the bench

Purchased new and put together easily. I'd only recommend to add a little adhesive or maybe some silicone at the top around the jack screw when installing the upper portion as to remove the wiggle from that mating surface. Just my opnion and only took a second. Over all I believe I'll be very pleased with this long term and the holiday sales made the price very reasonable.
Cons:
- Heavy
- Top bag material (black) seems a little thin.
