Great Choke !

I finally got my Browning A5 to pattern the way I wanted. I got the Invector DS ported choke tube set. The set came with the Mid Range ( light mod. ) and the Long Range ( imp. mod ). I tried the mid range and it did just what I wanted. It patterned well well with #4 steel, # 7 1/2 lead, and # 8 lead. I was concerned that the smaller lead shot not doing what I wanted, due to the fact that these are marketed as steel shot chokes..... Not the case though.... It ended up being quite the opposite. These patterned Rem Nitro 27's # 7 1/2 & #8's outstanding ! A lot of people have a problem with the new Invector DS choke system. Its a completely different design, with different bore diameters, so it doesn't have the same constriction as the normal choke designation. Thats ok with me.... I finally got a set of these !!! From what i have found, it seems to be that these chokes are not load sensitive. It shot steel just as well as lead. I'm sure that some rounds will pattern better than others depending on what combination you choose, but.... my hard to pattern A5, is now outstanding. I'm not saying this will make you a better shooter, but you pattern will not be splotchy with holes, it will be even. The only way to tell for yourself is to pattern you shotgun. I'm happy with mine, but I was skeptical in the beginning..... I would recommend these to anyone trying to improve pattern density.
