Quality, Technology, Value

by John, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on February 26, 2025
Been using Carlson's chokes for several years. Whether hunting dove, quail, ducks, geese or busting clays, Carlson's tubes generally get the nod. This new Snow Goose tube reflects the high quality workmanship, state-of-the-art TST Technology and affordable value that we've come to expect. Pick a tube and run some pattern tests with various loads ... you might be pleasantly surprised!

Outstanding Choke !

by Jim S, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on March 8, 2024
These chokes are Awesome ! I like the non-ported for my O/U. The white cerakote finish is durable & easy to clean. They look Sweet in my Citori White Lightning too ! I was not sure about the rings on the inside when I purchased the first set of Mid-Range. These pattern great with all types of shot. I've used them with steel & lead. The Mid-Range work great in my Citori White Lightning with #2 Steel, all the way down to #8 lead for sporting clays. Now I have set of the Long-Range for some distance at sporting clays, to get ready for Late Season Doves ! Don't let the name fool you. Just because it's a Snow Goose choke, it does well in multiple applications with all different kinds of loads. I don't think these are rated for Buck Shot or the new flight stopping wads.
Pros:
  • Easy to clean
  • Durable finish
  • Non- Ported
  • Great for multiple applications
Cons:
  • a little pricey , but WELL worth the money
  • Not for specialty wads
Best Used for:
  • Waterfowl & Upland Field
