I purchased the Carson 7X (7 Power) Magnifier on a bit of lark. I was looking for a handy magnifier that was ultra-portable, but I was pretty open to whatever features it might come with. Works like a charm!

It's amazing that for as small as it is, this little magnifier is still powerful enough to do all sorts of tasks. I use it for doing crafts, looking at tiny print on atlas style maps, or for any other reason I need to grab a small magnifier for. I grabbed a few extra for stocking stuffers this Christmas and plan to do that again next year. In addition to how handy it is, it's also very well made and priced right!

an essential tool for any engineer

used this with my iphone to take macro photos and it worked. what a great field tool and certainly something to keep in a briefcase or backpack.
Pros: light weight, large lens, economical
Cons: scale mau not be fine enough

Great little magnifier for little $$$

I really use this little magnifier a lot. I keep in on my work bench & love the fact that it doesn't take up much space, it's very clear and pretty powerful. Great value!
