I bought this to outfit a new Bullseye gun box. My concern was being able to see .22 holes at 50 yards. This does it very well and is much smaller than the ones I’ve used in the past and the price was very attractive. I figure if Celestron can make a good telescope, they should be able to make a solid spitting scope

Bought this to use at the range for 100 and 200 yards excellent for 100 yard at 200 yards my 9 power picks up the hits better than this spotting scope great for 100 yards beyond that might as well walk to the target

Shooting 100 yards or closer this scope is great. Nice and small to conserve space in my range bag. Tripod is ok but I plan to use something else. Soft case is adequate. Overall I’m very happy with this scope and price.

I finally got the chance to try out my new spotting scope yesterday. I've been looking for a small spotting scope that would fit my old gun box without breaking the bank. I shoot .22 bullseye most of the time and this spotting scope worked great at 25 yds. And because Optics Planet had such a great price on it, I now can spend more money on ammo. Thanks..!

Maximum usage is 100 yards if spotting small caliber shots on paper targets. It is only fair at this distance and needs a good eye and steady base. For shorter distances, more than adequate. Which is what I purchased it for anyhow. The supplied tripod is flimsy but will be adequate if supported on a firm base. Good value for the money within the limitations per above.

I bought this to use in Bullseye shooting, both indoor and outdoor. My previous scope was adequate at 50 ft. but not 50 yards. This scope is very clear, compact enough to fit inside my gun box and will focus to any distance I need. I haven't tried it at any distance over 50 yards, and I expect it might be marginal at 100+ yards, but is a good value for my distances.

Bought this scope when I discovered that I could't see my shots on paper at 100 yards using my 9x compact binoculars. This scope works great for that task. The table-top tripod is simple but sturdy, so it affords a good, steady platform. The scope itself well-put together, and functions quite well. Nice carrying case too.

We will start with the cons... at max power (30x) focus is a bit touchy but still usable. I can tell the outer green coating will not last real long but that does not change how well the scope works. Now for the pros... this scope is small and feels well built. The eye piece felt gritty when I first got it but now it is smooth. The tripod some say "its a piece of junk" but I don't have a problem with it at all. Infact getting a spotting scope for this price and getting a tripod at all is nice. The spotting scope is clear and the mount that attaches to the tripod is metal. The only things I would change is lense covers that are atached to the scope. I am very happy with my purchase. This is my first spotting scope so I can't say I know everything about spoting scopes but I would say if you are looking for a first scope I think you would be happy with this one. I can see 22 cal. bullet holes at 100 yards with no problem. I have not tried more but how clear it is I would say 200 yards would not be a problem

I bought this little scope and a basic tripod for spotting targets on the archery range. That sort of use is exactly where it excells. I wouldn't expect it to hold up well under rough field conditions. It is very compact and lightweight. In its bag it easily fits in my range kit. The optics are bright and sharp. The zoom and focus both operate smoothly with no issues. Sure there are piles of scopes out there with brighter, sharper optics but for the money you will be hard pressed to beat this scope. I have no experiance with it but I suspect its 70mm cousin to be basically the same.

great item. pronides clear image of target even at 25 feet. body is adjustable to view from sitting or standing. the provided tripod is fine. but it and you will be very happy. the compact size is also great. i can't express how happy i am with this product
