This spotting scope surprised me on how well it works. The tripod is well made and attaches easily to the scope. The unit is very light weight and comes with a nice carrying case. Unusable
Purchased based on reviews and the Celestron name. I was looking for a compact spotting scope for easy carry. Optical quality nowhere near expected. 1/4" high printed text only barely readable at 50 yards and lowest magnification. Higher magnifications are unusable.
