Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing Product for the price
Works really well at 100yards. Able to see the bullet holes with iPhone 2x zoom. Even saw bullet traces. Highly recommend especially price. Optics quality is amazing at this price point. Performance at 400 yards was great able to see bullet vortex of a 223 round.
Most Helpful Negative Review Celestron spotting scope 20-60X 80 mm objective
My only complaint is that the mirage is horrendous. But it was on sale for $250. If I paid regular price of $499 it would be returned. But for what I paid it will suffice. I like the scope coat that was included and the tripod is adequate. The camera adapter is an added plus.

Good for price point but mine not durable

by Comp Shooter00, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on December 22, 2023
I loved this optic until it broke during a recent range session. I take care of my equipment (no hard use) and while adjusting the eye piece, it snapped off the main body, breaking beyond repair. Unfortunately I was just outside of the warranty, but i'm thankful this was during practice and not a competition. I won't be paying for repair and instead will invest in a more durable optic with a better warranty. Hope I could help with your decision making, see you on the range✌️

In a Battle for the Bottom

by Dan H, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 24, 2022
Optics quality is pretty good for price. There is a significant amount of Chromatic Abberations (purple outlining of objects or different colors. The real problem is that the optic was falling apart out of the box. Seriously. I would love to add pictures but I cannot. The front objective (everything forward of the tripod collar was sagging and falling off as I picked it up. The front objective is connected to the prism section via plastic threads, and the best part, they are not even the correct sizes. They knew this at the factory and just coated the threads in super glue. The really thin stuff as it just sat in the threads and didnt bond the two pieces together at all. If they were going to do a hack job, they could have at least Epoxied it. That would actually bonded the two pieces together and no one would have known. Even on sale at less than $300 for the kit. I feel deceived at best. I would opt for the cheapest Barksa I bought years ago over this. It might not have good glass but at least it doesnt fall apart.
Pros:
  • Cheap
  • Satisfactory glass
  • Okay video tripod with fluid head ($35 worth at most)
Cons:
  • Garbage design and construction.
Best Used for:
  • Throwing away
  • Being disappointed
  • Gifting to someone you hate

Amazing value

by R, from CO, United States Written on November 8, 2022
This is a nice midrange quality scope at an entry price. Add in the fact you get a very respectable tripod and a phone adapter while also on sale makes it amazing. This even makes a GREAT gift if you’re spending a couple hundred on someone.

good quality

by Jerry, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on July 4, 2021
This optic has good quality for the price. I would recommend this as and entry level spotting scope. Does not have a reticle. It is a little bulky of a set up but the tripod is top notch. Overall would recommend

good scope for the price.

by Andy T, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on April 28, 2021
For this tier scope, I doubt you will find one better. It takes very little to get used to this scope. Once you have it dailed in, you can spot a 223 grouping pretty clearly from 100yds. The tripod is also of good sturdy quality. The only thing that needed compensating would be when I attached my iphone12 Max pro up to it, the weight does pull the scope up a tad. Filming on 2x is clear, you only need to make sure to line up the right lenses to the eye piece. Also, the clamp that holds the phone adapter could be stronger in grip.

Great product! Very well-made, very sturdy, great optics. The entire package (the scope, tripod and mobile camera adapter) all work together very well and give excellent professional results. Got some great photos too.

Celestron trail seeker awesome scope

by JEFF, from MN, United States Written on October 20, 2020
Have been using this scope for shooting out to 800 yds, this is a incredible deal for the money especially with camera adapter and tripod! I recently took it to Colorado and glasses up several good mule deer out past a mile. Light gathering is great and tripod is of excellent quality even if it would have been purchased separately- if you're looking for a great budget scope this is a hard deal to beat.

Good value for the money. Tripod is good, and the adjustments on the sope take a minute to get use to, but the scope is all I need for the range. The carrying case comes in handy for stowing. Shipment was quick and pakaged well. I would recommend this spotting scope for any shooter at the range.

Celestron Trailseeker

by Mr. Wade, from OK, United States Written on July 4, 2020
I purchased this spotter so my son could help spot for me when I shoot 300-600 yards. I am working on accuracy not just getting the hit. We haven't used it at the range yet but I've already used it during a hike or two. For the money this is an excellent spotter with clarity and out of the box it's complete. No buying additional things to make it work proper or setup. Came with stand spotter and phone adapter.
Pros:
  • Had everything out of the box
Cons:
  • The quick release base isn't Rock solid but holds
Best Used for:
  • Your medium-long range magnification needs!
