Some fitting issues but worked in the end
This trigger has slightly longer rear ends than other AK triggers. They seem to be ok with the original safety lever. However I have Krebs Safety Lever with BHO installed and it got blocked. I had to cut about 1 mm off these trigger ends in order for the safety to unlock the trigger. Works perfectly now.
Pros:
- smooth action
Cons:
- may not fit all safety levers
Best Used for:
- Yugo AK-47

What Yugo’s need.
The Tapco G2 trigger group that Century NPAP’s originally came with ain’t right for those guns. The hammer is way too tall and it makes the bolt carrier bind way too much on it and makes for really rough cycling. The RAK-1 is right for Yugo AK’s. My NPAP cycles like a normal AK now. One thing I found strange though was that in the pictures in the instructions it shows the original AK double twisted hammer spring but tells you to take it out and use the straight spring that comes with the kit. It probably gives a lighter trigger pull but no thanks, I’m sticking with the original tougher proven double twisted spring. Works just fine when I left it in & test fired the gun.
Pros:
- Smoother cycling for Yugos
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Yugo AK

Bolt Carrier is so much smoother
Its a nice trigger, poundage may just be a tad lighter, but it smoother, bolt carrier doesnt wear like on the tapco trigger
follow directions ,the spring will get you, use the needle nose vise grips like the directions tell you, it will save your finger tips
