Most Helpful Negative Review honestly this stock is junk.
The actual folding mechanism is great, don’t get me wrong. It locks very solid open or closed. I’m also a big fan of it not being a straight up wire stock. However, the for end of the stock was extremely anorexic. I can squish it in and flex it with my fingers when gripping the rifle. Who wants that? As well as it doesn’t have a grove cut for your chassis reinforcement. There were cast lines all over this thing from the molding. Absolute junk quality for the 120$ price tag. I actually hunted down a DISCONTINUED butler creek folding stock and swapped out the folding mechanism for the choate....

2nd time a charm?!

So, this is the second time I've purchased this stock. First was for a mini 30, this time around was for a mini 14. This time it was more of a drop in stock compared to the mini 30 I had to file on to fit. It will work because the A- team stock is just obnoxiously expensive. It does have a slight gap between the rear of rifle action and pistol grip. You can see it with bright enough back light. Overall, I'm excited that I didn't have to take a Dremel to it. Hopefully one day I can pull the trigger on the A- team stock but until then this bad mama jama will have to do!

Cheap and affordable

Like other's had stated, very flexible at hand guard especially when rifle heats up. Had to do some major sanding/ fitting around magazine well and action. Was having failure to feed issues and mag well was tight when inserting magazine. Rifle butt stock has some wobble to it when shoulder, in folded position butt stock locks well with no wobble. Rifle doesn't sit/ fit well when seated around gas block/ heat shield shroud. If you have the knowledge and confidence to fit rifle stock this item will do, if not, the Samson stock is the way to go.

Tight but awkward to open

Stick looked great. I had to file a bit of one side as it did not fit well. It was only a little bit I needed to file but once on it was great. It is a little awkward to open as it is not super smooth but it is functional.
