There are a few deficiencies in this unit that need to be looked at. 1) the buffer tube is asymmetrical up front where it screws into the lower receiver. Impressed with this

Bought this mainly because it was cheap, but took the full product to the range, and was extremely impressed with how soft the felt recoil was with this buffer kit. I thought this was going to have that springy sound and hard felt recoil impulse, but was completely wrong. Totally blown away by CMC with this one.

Decent kit

Lightweight and seems to be good quality. Only thing that stuck out to me as a negative is that the buffer is not round (a couple flat sections) so when those sections contact the detent pin it barely touches. This seems like it would wear over time on the face of the buffer and/or the pin. So I turned the buffer so that the springs tension holds it in a spot that makes the most contact but obviously with use, it can rotate.

Cheaply made and QD doesn't work

QD doesn't work with magpul or generic brand slings and the tube feels cheap.

Mil spec goodness

Everything got well and the finish was nice. Magpul stock slid on and fit snug. Qd mount works great and is a nice addition.

Nice buffer tube kit

Nice kit at a good price. Someone mentioned the QD sling mount didn’t work. The buffer tube end plate needs to be installed in the proper direction in order to function properly. Everything in my kit was working as designed. Will buy this kit again.
