"Old School" PERFECT!!!
As an Ambidextrous but dominant South Paw shooter this safety is AMAZING! Also love the fact that as I am teaching inexperienced shooters I ALWAYS know the status of the rifle. Old School LARGE selector levers work great with gloves and have very positive stops. QUALITY, fit and finish, and ease of ...

This Selector Isn't A Good Idea
I bought this selector because it was inexpensive and it seemed like a good idea to have an ambidextrous option on my rifle (I'm not highly experienced with building weapons and I don't get a ton of range time). However for another rifle I purchased a short throw ambidextrous selector and having use...

Ambi safety that doesn’t click into place
I’ve installed probably about 7-10 ambi safeties before, and I’ve never had one that doesn’t click into fire, likely meaning the milling tolerance isn’t as precise as I have on my other safeties. This becomes a problem when you rely on that feel/sound of that complete “click” on fire.
Pros:
- Affordable
Cons:
- poor quality
Would recommend: No

Full-size right size lever, screw could be more robust
This is a nice ambi safety selector with a full-size right-side lever. My only complaint is that the screw is small and should not be torqued too much to avoid stripping. Loctite is recommended.

Fair mil-spec style ambi safety
This safety has equal long sized levers on each side, and does operate smoothly. The only bad thing is they stick out pretty far from the receiver, I put the lever ends in a vice and canted them slightly back closer to the receiver and they still bend outwards. They're spaced out from the receiver quite a bit from the shaft, but the levers also bend even further from the receiver face. I guess that's good if you have a heavier and thicker billet receiver, but it's borderline too far out for forged/Aero receivers. They do operate rather smooth and with a very satisfying snap/click, so I have nothing bad to say about their operation.
Pros:
- Price
- smooth detent track
- long levers on both sides
Cons:
- spaced out too far from receiver face
Best Used for:
- stopping bangs when you don't want them

CMMG Ambidextrous Safety Selector
I had to do a little fitting. The side that gets the add-on lever sticks out slightly just beyond outside of the receiver. I did a little grinding on the selector itself and the dovetail section on the lever to bring the lever closer to the receiver. Easy to eliminate the gap between the back on the lever and receiver with a small bench grinder if you take your time. I wanted a close fit otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
Pros:
- Price and install ease
Cons:
- Poor fitting
Would recommend: Yes

Well built
Replaced a cheap ambidextrous switch, with an allan bolt that stuck out like a sore thumb, for this one which feels much better and looks better too. It also feels smoother when engaging and disengaging.

nice and simple
Great quality for the price. Nice flush fitting. Finish is very nice as well. Easy to maneuver with or without gloves. Overall great product. Perfect match to my aero precision lower. Definitely recommend It for the girls as well my gf loved the large throw leavers. Easier for her to maneuver since she’s a lefty and most left levers come a little smaller
Pros:
- grea price and quality
Cons:
- none for me
Would recommend: Yes
great safety selector switch
Very nice selector switch. Fitment is very nice compared to some other more expensive brands that I bought. Feels exactly like milspec unlike some of the other brands where tolerances were little bit off. Seems like its just a modified selector which you would normally get in a parts
kit which is actually a good thing.

simple upgrade that i really like
I got this for my m&p sport 2. Note I still have my stock trigger, not a upgrade or drop in trigger.
Easy to install and smoother with a positive click over the stock safety selector.
Size is identical on each side so if liked your stock one but wanted on each side, this will do it.
It does not rub on my hands and I have a hogue grip with beaver tail and high purchase. That said the safety does not come in contact with my thumbs when firmly gripping and shooting.
Happy with the upgrade.

It just works
Replaced my Magpul ambi safety switch with this and could not be happier. Much smoother operation when switching from safe to semi and vice versa. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality ambi switch.

CMMG Lower Parts
Every CMMG lower part I have every purchased has been absolutely awesome. No frill, simple perfection. This ambi safety is no different. Install was easy, and being able to relace ekther side of the safety is a definite plus!
