Great quality product. The only thing I notice is the safety selector is very low profile not much to engage when manipulating safety but smooth / positive detent. Other than that no issues.

I really, really do like this lower parts kit from CMMG. As someone who's built a few lowers, this is probably the most straightforward and well-organized kit I've ever used. Everything you need is right there, sorted nicely, and the quality of all the small parts is excellent. The included trigger is actually really decent for a mil-spec style one—nice and crisp.

The best part is the confidence it gives you. Knowing that everything is from a single, reputable manufacturer and is designed to work together perfectly takes the guesswork out of building a lower.

Now, for my one highly important suggestion: I would highly suggest that you lock tight all the parts that have to screw in. Specifically, the bolt catch roll pin and the trigger guard screws are the main ones. It's just cheap insurance to make sure nothing works its way loose after hundreds of rounds. I did it on my build and it's rock solid.

If you're building an AR and want to save yourself the headache of sourcing fifty different small parts, this kit is 100% the way to go. Just have your blue Loctite handy and you'll have a perfect, reliable lower. Fantastic product

I really liked the kit, everything works well but the safety selector is very stiff right off the bat. Seems like it will take a bit to break in.

I have used this kit on a ton of builds but recently they switched out the double paddle type to the stock bolt catch without updating the picture. It's still a good kit but the description should clearly stated that the picture is not correct. OEM bolt catch included.

If you are lucky enough to get a complete and correct kit, they are great. If not, you are in for a nightmare. I recently ordered and installed a CMMG Zeroed kit, and after taking a look at the selector tabs, I realized they sent the wrong size(2 smalls instead of a big and a small). After a week of back and forth with Optics Planet even after I sent a picture of what i needed, they told me to reach out to CMMG myself. After speaking with them through numerous email chains and a phone call, they gave me an order number. Since that last email confirming shipping information was sent, I have not received any more communication from CMMG. No explanation, no tracking number, not even an ETA.

So, to recap, if your kit comes complete, you'll be over the moon. However, if your kit is incomplete in any way, dont expect Optics Planet or CMMG to make it right.

All the pieces came very organized. Installation was a breeze. Feels high quality. Very pleased with my purchase.

Good quality and easy to use however the two detent pins were different colors and the safety is easy to incorrectly position

I wanted to make sure by build had a quality ambidextrous parts kit and this worked out perfectly. Easy to use and good quality.

After trying SI, BAD, and FCD this is absolutely the best bang for the buck.
The SI is the cheapest and it shows.
The BAD is great but bulky.
The FCD is the best but is over $300 without a FCU.
The zeroed is the perfect balance of sturdy, lightweight, and ergonomics.
