CMMG AR-15 Receiver Extension Kit-CAR
Product is great quality, and it shipped pretty quickly. I’ve normally had a good experience with Optics Planet so that’s why I went with them after the Receiver Kit was assumed in-stock, which at the moment is a big obstacle for most people trying to find odd and end AR parts right now at their local shops. This CAR extension is going on my 10.5 SBR build To replace the PRS Gen III I had on it that I’m now putting on my Armalite AR 10 build. Shop around to find the parts you’re needing right now, but for the most part Optics Planet will normally have what you’re looking for. Very satisfied

Great product for a standard build
I've used these for two builds so far, they work as-advertised. I prefer to buy the extension tube, spring, and buffer together for basic builds so I don't need to do the leg work or forum research to find an optimal combinations for a given rifle (you also tend to get a better deal in my experience). I did swap a third one of these out for an anti-tilt buffer on a lower that I wanted to pair with a piston upper, but that is sort of a special case where the upper was has a notorious failure mode to with special components. I'm happy with this extension tube set.

Excellent Product for Your AR Build
I needed a receiver extension for my current AR-15 build. I have had great success using CMMG receivers so I decided to try their receiver extension to mount my Magpul CTR adjustable stock. The mil-spec extension kit was a perfect fit to the receiver and the Magpul CTR stock. There were no issues with the build. I highly recommend the CMMG receiver Extension Kit. Be sure to order the correct part (milspec or commercial size).
