Justin Lenz's Review of CMMG, Inc AR-15 Receiver Extension and Stock Kit
I have read various reviews on this stock over the
web, and a lot of people complain about how cheap it feels compared to a legit OG A1 stock. I've never felt one of those, so take this review as you will. This is also my first fixed AR stock. I don't have any real complaints about this stock's feel. Is it as solid as a wood stock? Of course not. Do I feel like you could bash someone in the head and it be effective? No, but I've never felt any polymer stock that I think would do that. Function wise, no issues. Running it with an 11. 5" Centurion FBI profile barrel. Originally had a carbine RE, spring, and H3 buffer. Switched over to this CMMG stock with included spring and buffer, also no issues. If you're looking for an A1 length stock and can't find or don't want to shell out OG A1 stock money, get this one. It comes with everything you need to install it and run (less torque wrench, of course). If you're an OG A1 stock snob, seems like you may not be happy with it.
