Adds the perfect amount of extra length, making it much easier to push out and grab. It slides in and out smoothly too. My mil spec one was always hard to push and then grab.

User friendly
You can feel the quality of this product. I don’t know if it was the spring and detent or the hole of where they’re captured on the lower, but the install of this pivot pin was EASY and TOOL-LESS. I really like that this pin protrudes a bit on the left side of the lower, slightly more than the others I own. This makes it very easy to push the pin own during removal. Highly recommend this pivot pin and other CMMG lower parts! I just wish that more pivot pins would come with the spring and detents, for us in CA who use a kingpin we don’t need the pin set, just the front pin usually.
