Was looking for a basic leather type sling for a 30-30. Recieved it and was very impressed with the looks and quality of the sling. Comes with all the brass Chicago screws to install swivels. Thanks again OpticsPlanet. Pros: Great look, quality and value. Comes with all hardware. Cons: None

Butler Creek Cobra Sling

I needed a sling for my new Marlin 444. I tried various slings and I had a few Butler Cobra sings from 1979 (I still use today) mounted on other rifles. I tried one on the 444 and that was perfect so I ordered this new one from Optics Planet. This leather cobra sling seems to be made just a well made today as they were back then. Im very satisfied with this purchase.

Rifle Sling

This is a very comfortable and well made rifle sling. It allows me to cary my firearm during my my mile walk to my hunting blind while still having the rifle accessable in case I need it. It is also good looking. Just what the doctor ordered.
Best Used for:
  • Walking two miles to hunting blind.

Works Great

This sling is cost effective and of good quality. It works great with my model 70 300 win mag. I have used it for two full seasons and has held up great to back country hunts. The padding is comfortable enough for those long hikes.

Excellent value

This sling is a perfect match for my rifle. Simple, cost effective, attractive yet not too fancy. I've used nylon slings that are adjustable but not terribly comfortable. The ornate slings seem to detract from my rifles purpose. It's a tool for hunting, not a show piece. This sling is the best of both worlds being both functional and attractive.
