Good overall field dressing knife
This is a great knife for overall field dressing a deer. You could use some good kitchen knife from a local store but this one has good stability for fileting the meat after the deer has been dressed to the meat part. Then slicing into steaks and parts for the cooking is a breeze with a tough kitchen knife like this one. Stays sharp for a good length of time and honing to stay sharp is not hard at all. Good length for the cook in us hunter type men. Hope this helps.

GREAT KNIFE........
I've put this knife through it all.......still have yet to have to sharpen it. If you are looking for a knife to put on our tactical vest or just a knife to put on our belt......this is the one...I use it on my vest when I go in the woods and it has still yet to let me down..... Great knife
