Most Helpful Positive Review Shot timer
Great shot timer. Easy to operate. Best money you can spend. Don’t waste your time trying to get by with an iPhone app. If you’re serious about getting better as a shooter this is a must. Check out ben stoegers books too
Most Helpful Negative Review It does what it's supposed to, but that's it.
Much like Texas Instruments, Competition Electronics has a stranglehold on their very niche market, leading to the lack of innovation and a price that's pretty much whatever they want to charge because what are you going to do, use your iPhone? It works, but has been the same for a long time and cou...

As advertised

by R-Kansas, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on February 24, 2022
I'm not using it at a club or in competition. I only use it for personal progress information. The sensitivity is adjustable, and if you play with it, it will pick up even suppressed 22 pistols most of the time (think Red Ryder BB gun volume level). Suppressed 9mm is 100% once levels are set correctly. It does have some parasitic battery drain, so I remove the 9V battery after use. Over time, that may become an issue since the wire leads are very thin. So far, 0 issues and completely satisfied.

Excellent Timer

by Physineer, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on February 24, 2022
This is an excellent timer, easy to use and functional. Able to set the sensitivity and the dead time. The buzzer is loud enough to be heard over the noise at the range. Random start time is excellent for draw practice.

Pocket Pro II is a great tool. The product is excellent and the price is reasonable. I find it pretty easy to use and of good quality. I have yet to have an issue with it and the information it provides is very valuable if you wish to grow as a shooter.

Wonderful product.

Awesome Product

by Levi Gilkison, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on December 11, 2021
Yes, you can get a free shot timer on your cell phone that costs nothing. But;
1- The beep on this is really loud (if you want it to be since it's adjustable)
2- You can adjust the resonation so it won't pick up echos in a concrete range but can also adjust to catch super fast shot strings.
3- It's easily operated with gloves on since it has big buttons. Adjusting par time or reseting could be done with mittens on.
4- I sometimes practice inside with replica bb guns and obviously they're really quiet but you can adjust the sensitivity to pick up even those. Or, if you'r at a range with others shooting just down the way you can turn down the sensitivity so their shots are not picked up on your shot string.
5- You can even adjust how long the backlight stays on
6- With all these "adjustments" and even displaying time and date you'd think it might be complicated to work. Not the case, super user friendly and simple menu navigation.
7- And, finally I don't even remember if it's double or triple A batteries because this things lasts forever. I probably have 30 hours of actual use on it and I think it shows the battery at 1/3.

Longest review ever but this simple and durable little box is great buy!

Easier to use than expected

by conway400, from AR, United States Written on September 8, 2020
A few minutes out of the box, and we were doing timed drills easily checking total time, time to first shot, and split times. And it was an easy thing to jump to setting a par time. I don't know all the features yet, but easy to use, easy to see, easy to hear. Fits perfect in range bag.

Great Timer

by kid, from PR, United States Written on September 6, 2020
The best timer on the market. It gives you the splits between each shot. You can choose the start time between 2-5 seconds. Its memory lets you record the last 100 shots. It also has a long battery life.
