Stitching coming undone
I purchased this jacket in Nov/Dec 2017. After about a month of light use, the stitching in the collar, where the hood tucks under the flap, is coming undone. It appears that the person sewing the garment never finished the stitching and left it open ended. I am giving this jacket 2 stars because I do like the design and function of it. However, the quality and workmanship is not quite up to par. I would have rated this jacket 4 stars if not for this issue. The only other thing was the main zipper could have been a little better. Best jacket I've owned
This is my second purchase of the same jacket because of its value. I bought my first Summit Zero in late 2015 and it had more than two years total time over three deployments to the CENTCOM AOR. Two winters in Afghanistan, Cool winter nights in Kuwait, and a very chilly winter in Northern Iraq. I finally retired the first jacket in 2022. The fit, durability and wear of the jacket earned it a place as my go-to single outer layer for the fall and spring to wearing it over layers during snowstorms in the winter.

Great jacket for everyday use
Received this jacket in about 4 days with the free shipping option, said it could be up to 14 days. Very happy with optics planet. Loveing it so far, is about 18 degrees out and this soft shell is confutable with no extra layers. But it's no to heavy where I can't where it while i work, in a climate controlled building. Would highly recommend!
