Drop Leg Platform
I rated this product 5 stars simply because it does the job it was made for, carrying gear.
I personally don't like drop leg platforms(for many reasons) but that being said, we are using them on our off leg side to carry our IFAK and shears. Why? Because our set-ups had the IFAK on the back of our battle belts and made it near mission impossible to sit in any kind of vehicle, let alone driving. Now we can ride with better "comfort" and even drive vehicles. This includes SxS's. Walking, trotting and jogging is a lot better bc the weight/ mass of a pistol and/or mags are much much greater than an IFAK.
Additionally, we can deploy the IFAKs quicker and with greater ease from that location vs on our backs at the waist.
I just pray we don't have to use them.

Carry more
You may think why not just use the cargo pockets. Because the contents don't stay put. As soon as you start moving everything is flopping around hitting your thighs or knee's and it gets old fast. Sure now it means buying pouches/pockets. But at least it will be steady and higher up. Just don't over tighten the staps. They are height adjustable. Fitting requires a bit of fanagling to prevent the buckles from chaffing against each other.
