If you are looking for a base level pair of binoculars, this is a great option. The glass was better than I thought it would be. I would put it against the other companies in the industry when compared to an item in the similar price range. On the plus side, if you get them on discount, it's an even better deal. No issues.

Covert Optics 10x42mm Roof Prism Binocular
These binoculars are compact and comes with a carry case, Its is aesthetically pleasing.

Good clarity
They have good magnification and clarity. The case is nice and comes with lens wipe and neck strap for binoculars. Lens caps didn’t hold up. One of the broke on the second use. Taking a closer look the rubber strap between the retaining side and cap side seems to have a weird crease and broke in two places. The other side just has a normal bend to it with no breakage.

10 x 42 Covert Optics Binoculars
My first pair of binoculars. Compared to my ranger binoculars at 10 x 50. These C.O. binoculars are out standing. The obj lens covers have held up thus far. But seeing my other 8 x 42 C.O. binoculars had a lens cover break at the flex strip. I just bought two high quality covers for both these, in my opinion, outstanding binoculars.

- Strong housing, quality glass, low light capable.
Cons:
- Objective lens covers may be a hit or miss
Best Used for:
- Low light situations, spoting animals and moon gazing.

Great optics with clear glass.
These binos are surprisingly clear and have a great reach with the magnification. Field of view is ample for hunting or bird watching. All around these are my new go-to’s and Optics Planet has them at an unbeatable price.

Seem well made
They seem really well made. A lot of thought went into the design, ergonomics, and general feel. But where the lens cap mounts to the body, it ripped the second time I used them. A small thing I know but it makes me wonder if there were other corners cut on more crucial inner components. Only time will tell

these are incredible
So let me start by saying that I dont have a ton of experience with bino. I just had a cheaper vortex pair that did the job. I saw these on sale and figured why not. Wow what a difference. These are incredible. The glass is incredible. Its a night and day difference. So glad i bought these.
