Amazing Light with an amazing price
I got my CWL-202 off of Dvor.com which is part of Optics planet. I recieved mine for $44.99 including the picitnny rail mount, touch pad with straps, a m-lock mount and finially the normal end cap for the light. I got it for an insane price and am super happy. This thing lights up a dark room as if ...

Decent but wouldn’t trust my life to it
Let me start by saying I have not yet given the company a chance to address this issue. I’m reaching out this week and I will update once that happens. The light works well for the most part, however, 1 out of every 4 times I pull my rifle out of the safe the light will not work. I have to play with...

Great light
Very bright light, remote switch is good but one of the Velcro straps that help hold it on the gun broke when I was tightening it. Fixed with zip ties and gun wrap. It’s on tight and works great.

works great
The cord for the pressure switch is the perfect length, and the light is plenty bright.
Pros:
- lots of mounting options
Cons:
- None

Great weapon light for the cost!
I already had one of these and i paid like $90 for one from crimson trace directly. Inwas impressed with the brightness and quality of the build and material. Intehn bought a streamlight pro tac, and out it on another build i had, wasnt nowhere near as bright as the CT. Not to mention optics plant sold me it and it was on back order till January 2025, they managed to get one and get it sent to me quickly.

CT flashlight
This is a great little light for the money. I bought it to put on my AR, but I’ve really found it useful during hunting season to find my stand (ozarks landscape is rough terrain, especially in the dark). Battery life could be better, but this light is so bright, it’s not a big concern. I bought a second one for my little brother.
Pros:
- Lightweight, compact, Bright
Cons:
- Battery life.
Best Used for:
- Rifle light, or general purpose

Light is bright and very durable. 3M tape for the pressure pad is very sticky plus has 2 straps for an extra hold.

NOT WORTH IT
To start off, at first it seems “great”, but 3 years later, first off when firing the light turns off for a millisecond, not very recoil shock proof huh? Also the pressure pad, after so many adjustments the velcro straps snap, and apparently I cant find any replacements online for the pads (keep reading), unlike streamlight/surefire etc. EVEN BETTER, the rubber pressure pad itself, in 2/3 of my Crimson brand lights has actually started to physically come out of the plastic housing, like physically popping out and you can’t just push it back it. Oh well, I repurposed them as regular flashlights.
Best Used for:
- Being how not to design a rifle light

nice and bright , no hot spot.
Nice quality light for the money. Lots of different mounting options thats included with it. , only issue i hmget with it is cheap velcro straps it comes to mount pressure / on/off switch, it ripped just putting switch on :( its garbage !
Zip ties it is. Or aftermarket mounting options.! But light output and quality of light itself is nice for the money.

Recomended but
The light is aluminum, waterproof and puts out lots of light and the mounts are all solid for the price it can’t be beat. Pad is really good but the straps it comes with are really cheap and mine broke off when I put them on but other than that is a really good light for the price.
Pros:
- good all round
Cons:
- None
