Most Helpful Positive Review This is an incredible bargain!
I have always associated with inexpensive red dot sights and laser sights. I had recently decided to remove a Sightmark night vision scope from an AR308 and replace it with a traditional optic however my budget was limited since I was paying for it with what I made off of the nv scope. Initial impression was as good as the old Nikon P series nothing fancy as far as the turrets and clearly marked and they have that spring-loaded reset so nothing really earth-shattering there. However the inclusion of the sun shade was a nice touch. But then I looked through it and even though my eyes are not wh...

Crimson Trace

by JD, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 24, 2025
Optically sharp. 4x16x50mm 30mm tube. Second focal plane MR1-MIL reticle. Feels solid to the touch. Ease of operations and light weight are all important for me. Packaging was secure.

My second Crimson Trace scope

by David Q, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on March 1, 2025
I purchased this scope to go on a 7 x 57 Mauser rifle for hunting. I has all the key points for a deer rifle in the South East. Great light gathering ability; good glass, 30 mm tube, 50 mm objective and an illuminated reticle. Also the 4-16 magnification range is perfect as most deer are taken here at less than 100 yards. This means you will set you magnification to low power, 4 or 6 or Second Focal Plane is important as the reticle shrinks at low magnification with First Focal Plane. The scope fills the Bill.

Add to this clean crisp recording external turrets that respond precisely to adjustments and you have a winner. I mounted the scope on quality rings and steel rail. I lined up the scope with a plumb bob and conducted a bench zero at 15 yards. Shooting from a portable bench the first round was 1/2" left of the aim point. I finished the Zero at 50 yards adjusting for the correct intended 100 yard impact point in three rounds. I then switched directly to a 6" gong target at 100 yards I fired two rounds both near center hits. Yes they were hand loads setup for this rifle, yes I am an experienced shooter but without a scope of this quality you just don't make this happen.

I knew the Crimson Trace brand from pistol lasers and they are the bench mark for the market. Based on my experience with the Brand I bought the scope and I am very happy I did.

If you are thinking of getting a rifle scope this is the one to jump on before everyone learns about them and buys them up. Th...

Excellent Hunting Scope

by David Q, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on March 1, 2025
I have been hand loading since 1968 and still shoot at long distances (1000 +). I purchased this scope to go on a Marlin 336 30-30 rifle for hunting.

I mounted the scope on quality rings and EGW steel rail. Lined up the scope with a plumb bob and laser cartridge insert. Shooting from a portable bench I was able to do a Zero at 50 yards adjusting for the correct intended 100 yard impact point. I then switched directly to a 6" gong target at 100 yards I fired two rounds both near center hits. Yes they were hand loads setup for this rifle, yes I am an experienced shooter but without a scope of this quality you just don't make this happen.

And this scope is UNDER $350. I bought a second one and it shot just as great. I knew the Crimson Trace brand from pistol lasers and they are the bench mark for the market. Based on my experience with the Brand I bought the scope and I am very happy I did.
