v4lu3s's Review of Crimson Trace Hardline Pro 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope w/Spring-Loaded Zero-Reset Turrets

I have always associated with inexpensive red dot sights and laser sights.
I had recently decided to remove a Sightmark night vision scope from an AR308 and replace it with a traditional optic however my budget was limited since I was paying for it with what I made off of the nv scope.
Initial impression was as good as the old Nikon P series nothing fancy as far as the turrets and clearly marked and they have that spring-loaded reset so nothing really earth-shattering there. However the inclusion of the sun shade was a nice touch. But then I looked through it and even though my eyes are not what they used to be you are paying for good glass at this price point. I have several Vortex striking holes which I like and several Burris scopes as well. It was very easy to zero and has held zero just fine.

Ultimately there are many better acopes than this however most of them cost hundreds of dollars more. Call this competitive with comparably priced Athlon or Arken scopes, but I feel the glasses better and it is also not made in China.
Pros:
  • clear glass
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Target shooting
