Great defensive advantage
As a long time shooter, I was a bit skeptical of the effectiveness of laser sights. After training with the laser in low light scenarios,I find myself wanting lasers on all of my defensive handguns. Realistic defensive training with a flashlight proved to me that the laser is much easier and more ac...

LG-489
Crimson Trace has lowered its standards in producing a defective product. When the second part (without the battery) is attached, it forces the rear of the unit into a position that restricts the discharge button for the magazine release. After sending pictures they offered to send a new one which w...

Les from Ohio
I bought Laserguard 459G for my S/w 9EZ fit and finish is excellent, looks like it was made at the S/W factory as part of the the gun.I have a red laser from another company on one of my guns. This Laserguard green makes a difference of night and day in being able to see your target. The green is so bright you will never lose sight of your target no matter how far away. Any lasers I buy in the future will be Crimson Trace Green. I have shot several boxes of ammo thru the gun with no adjustments needed.
Pros:
- Blends in to frame
Cons:
- None as of yet

DO NOT BUY Crimson Trace!
Company does not offer to repair known problems, only sell you a new unit for 50% off! Don’t trust them for good service or with your life. The activation button on my crimson trace LG-489G stops working after about three seconds. Won’t light up again until it has sat for maybe 30 seconds. Shoddy product.
Pros:
- Bright green light
Cons:
- Unreliable
Best Used for:
- False sense of security

My CT Laser Trigger Sights opportunities
This laser sight was and is everything I thought it would be for acquiring a target specially at night fall or low light environments.
Just point, actuated laser, and begin to fire at green dot until target is neutralized.

Fantastic little package
Picked this up for my daily carry and it's been great. Dead accurate right out of the box and not even noticeable change in weight or dynamics. Easily was able to get a new holster that was modified to fit the laser and many other holsters work right out of the box.

On my third attempt to get a Red Laser LG 489 for my M&P Shield 9 mm that will work
Bought a new M&P Shield 9mm with the LG 489 Red laserguard attached and the laser quit working very shortly after purchase. Customer service did send me a replacement, but it has stopped working as well. When I took the laserguard goff the pistol I noticed a small piece of metal inside the grip that had come off, apparently due to poor mfg quality. That’s two LG 489 Red laser grips that were defective in a few months. I do have their laser attachments on other pistols and they work well, but there is something wrong with this particular laser model.

Green laser for M&P Shield
This laser was easy to install. No gunsmith necessary. I was amazed at how far I could see it. It was visible on a dark surface five houses away in broad daylight. It was just under $200 - a good price for a GREEN laser. If I have one reservation, it is the lack of an on/off switch. I mean it is activated every time I employ my regular grip on the gun, but when I practice, I don’t always want the laser on. I can cover it, but it will still be “on”. I didn’t see one with an on/off switch for my EDC during my search. Oh, and I have to remove it to replace the battery. But again that’s pretty easy. I give it four stars.
Pros:
- Inexpensive, easy to install, excellent range
Cons:
- Always on when Gun is gripped, have to remove laser to replace battery

Easy install, great product
This product was great to install and was almost dead accurate with zero adjustments right out of the package! Only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that I am still undecided about the auto on feature for both the light and laser. I don't like the idea of announcing my presence with the light before I am ready to fire, but realistically, I suppose it is probably better to not need to think about the switch if you ever really need the light.
Pros:
- EASY INSTALL
- high quaity great price
