CT RAD Pro Customer Service Fail
Did you know there are modes for the CT RAD Pro? No? Well, don't blame yourself, because the User Guide makes no mention of it. Apparently, you can turn on/off the Auto function (controls shake awake and ambient brightness) by pressing the + for 5 seconds. When I received my sight, none of the Auto ...

Very Well Build
The build of the product is very strong the optic light adjusting is very smooth and zeroing it in was a breeze

CT Green Dot
Excellent value for the money. Once mounted on a Walther WMP 22 magnum pistol, was able to zero it in less than 10 shots. Green dot is easier to see with people that have astigmatisms.

Awesome compact red dot
Great optic, works well in the day and the night, and the shake awake feature works well

Its alright I guess
It does the job but no more and no less. The battery compartment is difficult to open, results may vary but I broke the tool it comes with trying to open it. Besides that the screws it came with weren't even close, i am new to optics but not a single screw was long enough or the correct threading, the screws i already had that came with my plate had to be filed down because the tapered holes are super deep but not all that wide.

caution if for 3.5 in Prodigy
First of all, Optics Planet is 5 stars as always.
This sight is listed by Springfield Armory as compatible with the A13B plate that comes standard with the 3.5 in Prodigy. Crimson trace also says this sight is compatible with that plate. Indeed, the sight fits the plate, and CT ships the sight with 4 pairs of screws. The problem is that the screws don't fit. I contacted CT, and they recommended that I buy the correct screw from a 3rd party. No info from them about which screws to buy. Fortunately, I was discussing this with a range officer at a gun range I occasionally frequent, and he looked it over and told me to order 6-48 screws. That did the trick.
I would also note that the dust cover for the sight won't fit between the CT sight and the rear sight of the pistol. Fortunately I was able to do "surgery" and remove the rear "wall" of the dust cover. Problem solved.
The sight works, but this was all harder than it had to be. CT should add a 5th set of screws!!!
Once again, though, Optics planet is great to deal with.

Crimson Trace Rad Pro Green dot on Prodigy
I bought this as it was an option regarding for my Springfield Prodigy 2011. Since it already came with red dot base plate, I decided to go with this Green dot. Took a little bit to zero in but once dialed in, the poorman Staccato was hitting steel plates consistently! No issues with Green dot, love the shake and wake feature. Highly recommend to those who have a Prodigy and are on a budget. Thank you
Pros:
- durable
- AFFORDABILITY
- Shake and wake

- None
