Nice light, needs some tweaks
Overall for the price, this light offers a great value and as CT is just branching into the dedicated weaponlights I expect to see their offerings improve with feedback.
900 lumens, just a bit behind their competitors but still a very usable light. Throw is decent on this one compared to the 500 lumen model but they both definitely favor a spill/flood configuration more than a distance beam.
Mount and tape switch is included so out of the box this light is ready to go on your rifle.
Very useable as an EDC handheld light as well.
While I prefer single output lights for firearms, I do like having a low output for my handheld lights. The strobe feature however is something I could definitely do without.
Hopefully CT makes those changes based on user feedback.

Crimson trace absolutely great product
First time ever purchasing crimson trace flashlight. Hands down for the price and lumens you cant beat that. Its does what it suppose to do. It comes with everything you need to attach your firearm. The light over power my room light. Enough said I recommend this flashlight to whomever needs one

CT, I expected better
I'll admit because of the CT name and price, I bought two Crimson Trace 900 lumens Tactical Lights without any research. First the good news, they are bright, seem reliable and have a solid light mounting system. However, as a WML it's a fail.
The first problem is the "3 mode" operating system. Thi...

Decent for an inexpensive light
The build quality and mount are solid. Reasonably priced for everything that comes with it. The light is super bright. There are better lights out there but none in this price range. When you tap the button it cycles through everything. Wish there was a way to choose each without cycling through every setting. Otherwise would have been 5 stars if not for this.

My Favorite rail light!
Great light and features for a good price. I have 3 of these rail light systems now and not looking back. They come with the tape switch and mount were most others you have to buy all that extra. Tape switch is very sturdy no issues over a year out. Light mount is very solid. IMHO this is the best rail lighting system for your dollar. They even have a program where you call every year and the send you free batteries.
Pros:
- durable
- reasonable price
- bright
- stong
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Rail mount rifle lighting.

Great buy for the money
I've bought a handful of this weapon light for my firearms and some to give to my family. We all can't afford to put surefire lights on all our firearms so these are perfect. It's Crimsom trace so it's a company thats been out there fot a while. Light comes complete with everything that you'll need. Easy to mount. Can be used as a normal hand flashlight as well. I'd buy a few more in time.
Pros:
- Price is great, works well
Cons:
- None

Great light for a good price
First time ever purchasing crimson trace flashlight. Great light for the price. Hands Illuminates well and fits snug. Very good light. The "3 mode" operating system requires flashing the light through Hi, low & strobe to reach the desired setting, this can be a little inconvenient

Great price/Great light
This light checks off all the boxes for me. It comes with a decent pressure pad and mounting system. The light is super bright and a fraction of the cost of surefire or streamlights. I would definitely recommend this for the price it costs.

Light is not consistent - takes time to turn on - flickers - new battery
When I first received this light it was excellent. The light turned on immediately and was bright. I have had it for barely two months, and have turned it on maybe 10-20 times for short periods of time. Now the light does not turn on right away after pressing the button. It takes about 15 seconds for it to get bright, and now when it does get to full brightness it flickers. This is not something I can recommend to anyone. Crimson Trace is a great brand, and I feel bad writing this review, but this is unacceptable especially in certain situations.

CTC Rail mounted light
This is the same deal as the 500 lumen version I reviewed- Over all the light is good, sufficient. I feel the same as many others in regards to the programing and having to cycle through the modes. Realistically people in there reviews make it seem worse then it really is. If you have it on high, you can keep it on high by simply waiting 5 seconds in between activating the light and it stays on the mode you set it to, if you activate the light before a 5 second count it switches modes and that’s why you’d have to cycle through the modes each time. Definitely a shortcoming as a tactical/defensive light so not my first choice but for a real lower budget light it’s pretty nice. Also they should have supplied some rubber rail clips to secure the pressure switch, the Velcro will work but looks cheesy and it will move a bit no matter how tight you make it.

Phil Jones
Very durable super bright, blinding! Works great on my AR for Coyotes. I also like the fact that I can carry it in my pocket for personal defense along with my every day carry, not bulky or comberson.

Crimson trace weapon light
Solid construction, easily scratched, the two buttons do the exact same thing but one is a momentary switch and the other is on-off. The problem with this switch is that every time you press one of the buttons the light will cycle to the next function like strobe, high beam, low beam. So if you were in a situation and needed light you may not know what kind of beam you will get when you turn on the light.
Pros:
- Solid construction, bright light
Cons:
- Cycles light functions
Best Used for:
- Non critical weapons

Weapon Light
Good light, simple to mount. I use it for work and the light is built tough. Bright and has a good throw and the pressure switch has nice pressure switch mounting set up. The only issue is the pressure switch does not have a memory to it so it cycles through the setting.
