This is my first purchase of a crimson trace unit and I'm satisfied. I use it for a nosler AR and it holds up nicely aganist the recoil. I definitely purchase another. Getting used to the switch and selecting different modes is a little tricky at first because you have to cycle thru each mode until you get the one I you need.
