Awesome product works as advertised , mounted up perfect, switch works excellent. You just can’t beat the brand name Crimson Trace when it comes to lights and lasers. Awesom. Will recommend to all my friends

Purchased this for my Colt M4 and it works great. This light performs just like the more expensive lights that are on the market. For the price if it does break it's not too much of a deal. Order one and you won't be disappointe.

Adding the 14% off coupon brought the price of this light down to $27.51. However, the $7.45 shipping charge brought the total up to about $35.00 - something to keep in mind. OTOH, you could say that the coupon knocked $4.48 off of the shipping charge making it less than $3.00.
Bottom line: it's really a good weapons light for a rifle and a pretty good price as well. I'm not a fan of the lights that have a cable and an on/off touchpad button. It's unnecessary if you mount this light close to where you grip the forend since the integrated on/off switch is easy to operate.
NOW, about the so-called need to cycle through the different modes of the light. This is something that is an {unnecessary} issue surrounding just about all of the low-cost LED lights on the market. You don't have to cycle through the modes if you depress the on/off button firmly and all the way in to turn the brightest setting on and off. Pressing the button too lightly is what causes it to cycle through its other modes. If you do it this way, you'll never have to worry again about not going to the brightest setting from the off position with a single button press.
I highly recommend this light for use with targets up to 20 yards away. Beyond that range, the light drops off rather quickly.

Have this light on one of my AR-15's. Put it to the test over in whitewood, CA. This light can take a beating. Its not the brightest light on the market but 500 lumens is plenty bright and for the price its hard to beat. Only down side is that you can't keep it on a mode setting. Every time you turn it on it cycles to the next light mode.
Pros:
- bright
- Strong & well made.
- budget friendly

I gave this light 1 star because it is a flashlight and the light mount is okay and slim. I purchased two of these 500 Lumen lights for Duty use. First problem is the pressure switch is pointless! Every time you tap the momentary switch or constant on/off switch it Cycles to the next setting causing temporary Vision change in low-light settings, you must cycle through to the setting "before" the one you want then turn the constant on switch to use the light. Second problem is when using the momentary switch there is a high audible screeching sound coming from the light and the light flickers on both the high and low setting. Very disappointed with these lights and definitely not safe for weapon-mounted use. I would return the lights but by the time I got back I'm past the 30 days return policy.
Pros:
- Can be used as a pocket flashlight
Cons:
- Pressure switch is pointless
- Audible screeching from light
- Cannot set a permanent light mode
- Annoying

If you are looking for a budget light that works, this is for you.
The pressure pad is a good bonus and works very well.
I did have to do a minor adjustment to the pressure pad cap, as the nut on the inside needed tightened.
Pros:
- Easy to mount
- bright and compact

Bought this light knowing it was a bit on the cheap side, but hoped for the best because it was branded Crimson Trace. I really like the size and was plenty bright. It came with an okay mount and two switch options (tape switch and rear cap button). A couple minor design updates and this could be a great little flashlight.
My biggest complaint was it changed modes/brightness every time you hit the button. It would be full bright, then dim, strobe, repeat.... A bit of a design issue. Then the hook and loop strap for the tape switch broke the very first day. I would not recommend for any type of duty applications rough conditions, look for something more proven.
Pros:
- light weight
- Size
- single battery
- Came with mount, and two switch options
Cons:
- Light switches modes every press of the on/off switch
- Hook & loop strap broke

Love the brightness and the clarity. It projects a nice round spot with no shadows. Also appreciate the mounting brackets being included. Like the low power and strobe features, but they are a little tricky to navigate. Changing modes with another button press in less than 5 seconds causes you to inadvertently changes modes sometimes. It's unnatural and takes some practice to train yourself to wait 5 seconds between button presses. But overall I like it and would buy it again.

Great for smaller factor pistol/rifles. With switch and mounting equipment. Mine went on a small truck gun AR-15. I like the three modes. It will reselect the last used code as long as 4 seconds pass before the next press.
Pros:
- good price
- bright
- Small
- Includes switch and mounting equipment
Best Used for:
- Small rifles or truck guns

I love all crimson trace products . This was a great price and fast shipping . Received light in four days . It was much brighter than expected and the switch is well thought out and the on/off has a positive click .
