There are two buttons on the tape switch, one for momentary activation and one for constant on/off.

What is the actual diameter of the flashlight. It is not 1" because it does not fit in the 1" mount you sold me. Can you give the actual dimension? Expert Answer

Updated Answer:

After confirming diameter with Crimson Trace, they state it is 1.275 inches. That is why there is a mount that is included with the unit.

Good value for the money, well made and fulfills its function as weapon light reasonably well.When installed in a matching mount be sure to have ot within reach for easy access to switch. It os recommemded you keep a spare nattery/batteries at hand.
