Criterion M 118
The Criterion 18” Rifle length barrel performed as described shooting under .75” 5 shot groups @100yds with Hornady 168 gr Match ammo also 175 gr SMK’s .80 5 shot groups and this was still less than 100 rnds! So I’m really happy.

Bad Criterion Customer Service
I would NOT recommend buying a Criterion barrel. I had a manufacture defect on mine that I did not catch during the return period. Criterion says they stand behind their barrels, no they don't. I sent them documentation and photos like their website suggested to the email address they listed. I'...

WORTH THE $$$
Replaced a BA barrel after only 300 rounds and this barrel completely changed the rifle. Don't waste your time or money and just get a Criterion for your build!

Out of spec
Assembled an ar10 with this barrel and it wouldmt function, wound up changing out parts all ocer the gun ro trouble shoot and trying a different barrel was the last thing i tried and it worked. Im guessing the gas port wasnt cut to spec. First criterion product ive used, not too impressed for how much it was.

Criterion match grade hybrid 1-11 twist 20" SS barrel
I got this barrel in .308 Win. cal. and installed with no issues. Found that I could not get the bolt to lock open with any weight buffer or spring. Found out the gas port had only been pilot hole drilled. Sent it back to Criterion and they drilled the proper size gas port and range tested it and shipped it back to me within a week and a half - Wow, good service (They also paid for shipping both ways!). So the barrel works perfectly now. Shoots nice even with the cheap ammo. Match grade bore is silky smooth when you pass a patch down the bore to clean it. Shoots tight groups without any break-in. Could not b e happier.
Pros:
- Great customer service
- good looking
- Shoots tight groups
- top match quality bore
Cons:
- a little too heavy for hunting
Best Used for:
- Long Range Accuracy
- Target shooting

barrel extension not aligned
Like another review here I also have a barrel extension that is not timed correctly. The same edge on each lug of the bolt is showing wear after only 10 round. The chamber is extremely tight looking at the spent brass.

Awesome barrels, Criterion has great customer service
I have 4 Criterion barrels. The worst shoots .75 moa with 5 shots. I spent 7 years as a machinist and had a couple of part time jobs as a barrel maker. You can look inside of these barrels with a borescope and the finish is excellent. The customer service at Criterion is about the best I have ever scene in the gun industry. Now I just wish they would chrome line magnum rifle barrels!!!
Pros:
- Easy to clean
- Long Life
- great accuracy
- they back up their products
Cons:
- None, I will happily pay a little extra for a great product.
Best Used for:
- Name It!!!

Excellent quality barrel. The fit and finish is beyond perfect. I am a loyal criterion customer and I can say they haven't disappointed me yet. I can't wait to shoot precise and accurate groups with this product.

Worth the money
I opted for the 22" 6.5 creedmoor barrel for my AR10 build and it was worth every penny. It's definitely not the most expensive barrel but it is not a budget barrel either. The quality of the barrel I received was very good. No tooling marks in the chamber or feed ramps, no scratching or marring inside or out. The rifling had very solid looking lands and grooves as well. I know the question most are wanting answered is regarding the accuracy. I'd have to stack this barrel's accuracy up against my Browning Xbolt Max LR in 6.5 creedmoor. With my Xbolt, I'm getting 1/3 MOA. This Criterion barrel produced 3/4 to 1/2 MOA using Hornady Black 140 gr BTHP. I'm more than happy with how this barrel has preformed and again will say it's well worth the money spent.
Pros:
- Accurate
- Quaility made
- Afffordable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Target shooting

6.5 CM barrel
Great barrel, sub MOA and amazing craftsmanship. I would buy again. I’m using the barrel on an AR10 SR25. I would recommend an adjustable gas block for the 6.5 creedmoor round. The rifle gas works great. No, need for a +2 gas system with this barrel and an adjustable gas block.
Pros:
- 600 dollar barrel for less
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Long Range Target
