Impressive
Very satisfied with this barrel. Only 50 rounds through it and I'm already grouping sub MOA. After it breaks in a bit more I suspect even tighter groups. Finish is even and darker than a phosphate finish.

Misleading
I purchase this barrel after talking with Criterion on the phone. I was told many times that this barrel would make me question shooting a bolt action again. Exactly What You Expect of a Premium Barrel.
Used with an AP AR15 Upper. Barrel is 18" Hybrid in 223 Wylde 1:8 Rifle length gas. M4 feedramps aligned exactly side to side and to the correct depth. Gas port diameter measures at 0.092", plenty for supers. Barrel pin aligns exactly with gas port, but barrel label (rolled marks) are offset slightly from center. Do not use for centering up. Muzzle thread 1/2x28 excellent cut and 5/8" to shoulder. Muzzle flat faced with no crown. 0.75" gas block is 1 7/8" long. One dimple exactly opposite the gas port. Nice very deep black nitride. Well made high quality manufacture.

18” hybrid
I bought the Rifle length 18” hybrid and was sighting it in with 75gr PPU matchline HT BT ammo. I didn’t do any type of break in, I just took it out and sighted it in. I was using a Trijicon 1-6 VCOG scope. I put about 80rds through it and was getting 1.25” groups. Without putting anymore rounds through this barrel I sold it to buy the same thing but the 20” version.
